Extended Jewelry protection plan
Extended Protection gives you coverage from loss or theft for 10 years with one additional opportunity to replace your Jewelry with the same or similar design at a reduced cost. Extended Protection covers your Jewelry for 6 more years after Standard Protection ends.
High School
Extended Protection for high school class jewelry may be purchased by the original owner at any time while he or she is enrolled in high school.
College
Extended Protection for college class jewelry may be purchased by the original owner up to 4 years after the original order date.
Pilot
Extended Protection for pilot rings is only available at the time of purchase.
Military Career Rings
Extended Protection is the only way to protect rings purchased after August 1, 2012.
Extended Protection covers black onyx and mother of pearl. Extended Protection also covers replacement of select genuine and synthetic stones that are not covered under Standard Protection, including Elements Stones™, camo stones and layered triplet quartz stones. Some exclusions apply. All other genuine stones (including diamonds) are NOT covered. Lost or stolen individual charms are NOT covered. Jostens must receive your written request for a replacement within 10 years from the ship date of your original order.
Standard Jewelry Protection Plan
Jostens automatically protects your high school or college class ring, high school sports ring, pilot ring, Class Tag™, Class Bracelet™, Class Locket™ or Collegiate Tag™ ("Jewelry") from loss or theft for 4 years. Jostens covers your Jewelry if lost or stolen and Jostens receives your written request for a replacement within 4 years from your Jewelry’s original ship date.
You have the one-time opportunity to replace your Jewelry with the same or similar design at a reduced cost. If a jewelry item contains charms and the entire jewelry piece is lost within 4 years of purchase, any charms purchased would also be covered. Most synthetic stones are also covered. Some exclusions apply.
Only two genuine stones, black onyx and mother of pearl, are covered; all other genuine stones, including diamonds and Elements Stones™, are NOT covered. Camo stones and layered triplet quartz stones are NOT covered. Individual lost charms are NOT covered.
Standard Protection is not provided for military career rings.
Neither Standard Protection nor Extended Protection are available for the following jewelry products: Pro Championship, Madden NFL, Military Recruit, Military Academy, Motorsports and most Specialty/Custom rings, among other products.

Replacement Process
Standard and Extended Protection are available only for the original Jewelry and the original Jewelry owner.
You must submit a Jewelry Protection Request and the replacement charge payment (plus applicable tax, shipping and handling) before Jostens will create your replacement Jewelry.
